Top 5 Fall favourites

The leaves are turning, the cool wind is blowing and all we want to do is cozy up to one of our fall favourites. Warming, filling  and delicious… Comfort food at its best!

1. Sopa de habas


This hearty and belly-warming soup is packed with flavour, protein and vitamins thanks to the combo of fava beans, tomatoes and garlic… Oh did I mention it’s super healthy and vegan? 

2. Pasta!


While we love to eat lively and lighter version of pasta in Summer (like arugula and ricotta gnocchi),  Fall is for indulging in rich pasta dishes with earthy, warm flavours like mushrooms and squash (like Butternut squash ravioli in a simple sage and brown butter sauce), or hearty ragu.

3. Borscht 

You can’t go wrong with a warm bowl full of borscht. We like the more traditional approach with chunky, heaping spoonfuls of cabbage and beets. 

4. Tea

Tea all day, everyday but specially in the colder months. Right now I’m loving supreme pekoe from DAVIDsTEA (of course!).

5. Banana bread 


This is a family favourite (as you can tell, my little one can’t keep her hands off of it). Recipe for this coming soon.
